A bit about me:

I’m a mother of 9.

USAF wife of 12 years.

Plantstrong for 18 years.

Certified personal trainer (NASM-CPT), certified nutrition coach (NASM-CNC), & weight loss specialist (NASM-WLS).

I have taught group fitness classes professionally since 2006 & am a certified ashtanga vinyasa yoga instructor.

I have 13+ years of breastfeeding experience.

I successfully lost 30-50 lbs after each of my 9 pregnancies, resulting in an over 320+ lbs loss over the past 19 years.

I have learned a lot in the process, & love sharing what I have learned.

Motherhood isn’t the end of your best life.

It’s just the beginning.

    Fitness, nutrition, mindset & lifestyle are a great place to start.

I believe the changes we undergo as mothers are part of our strength.

We can be stronger—physically, emotionally & mentally—after we become mothers, then we were before. It doesn’t just happen though—it takes effort & consistency to get there.

It takes intention.

I’ve made it my life’s passion to study fitness, nutrition & mindset.

I have (nearly) done it/tried it all, & have discovered through my own personal experiences with nutrition & fitness, that simple & sustainable approaches are the way to go.

I know the real life struggles moms have in trying to balance self-care with meeting the needs of your family, while also balancing demands of work & life.

It’s hard.

I know the realities of pregnancy & postpartum.

Juggling breastfeeding, meal prep, infant needs, family needs, etc. All the while trying to make weight loss, sleep, & exercise a priority. It can be very overwhelming!

I have been there, many many times. I know the hard, I know the struggle.

I know what it’s like to be all the different sizes.

To gain weight & know it’s part of the process of creating a human, but feeling overwhelmed by all the changes.

I know what it’s like to want to lose the weight, but to be unsure of how to do so healthfully while also trying to balance everything else.

I know you have finite time & energy. I know your time is precious.

Which is why in my coaching, I focus on practical, sustainable, holistic action steps to help you reach your goals.

A higher purpose to fitness & nutrition.

In my two decades of mothering, fitness, & experiences with postpartum weight loss & fitness, I have discovered that the whole reason to take care of YOU, is so you can take care of THEM.

As mothers, our natural inclination is to give, give & give some more, often at the expense of our own mental/physical/emotional health. In taking care of everyone else’s needs, we often lose sight of our own.

The reality is, if we don’t take care of ourselves first,

We will have nothing to give.

Fitness & a healthy lifestyle are only part of a bigger picture. They are parts of a whole way of being. A way of approaching life with intention, abundance & vitality.

I want to help you discover this truth for yourself, & become the fit, strong & confident mother YOU want to be!

I have a unique background & specific skill set to help you successfully navigate postpartum weight loss & fitness, & to navigate a tsunami of contradicting information.

To be clear, I am not a compliance coach, dictating orders.

Rather, think of me as a partner in helping you figure out your postpartum fitness/health journey.

I blend technical knowledge (science behind weight loss, fitness, nutritional choices) with adaptive processes (the psychology & mindset needed to “roll with the punches”) needed to be able to achieve the results you want—greater energy, strength, & balance as a woman wearing many hats (mother, wife, employee, friend, etc.).

(What is the best way to lose weight while nursing without affecting milk supply? How do I keep my energy up while in a calorie deficit? How much cardio should I do? Are carbs bad?
